Challenges and Solutions:
-
Integration in a Live Working Environment:
Challenge: The Just Eat office remained operational throughout the renovation, necessitating minimal disruption to the ongoing business processes and staff activities.
Solution: Built Interiors meticulously planned the construction phases to coincide with off-peak hours. Protective measures were strategically employed to shield the working areas from construction noise and debris. This included scheduling high-noise tasks such as demolitions and breakthroughs for after-hours, ensuring a seamless blend of construction activity and daily office functions.
2. Logistical Coordination:
Challenge: The project required the management of long lead items like sound-rated double-glazed wall panels and involved minor demolitions in tightly constrained spaces.
Solution: Built Interiors leveraged its robust supplier relationships to expedite the delivery of critical materials, maintaining project timelines. The team utilised a side door and escape stairs for all contractor access, meticulously planning material deliveries and waste removal to occur outside of peak business hours to minimise impact on Just Eat’s operations.
3. Maintaining Workplace Integrity:
Challenge: Ensuring that the ongoing office work was undisturbed by the physical changes happening on-site, which required high coordination of construction activities and worker movements.
Solution: Through effective site management and communication protocols, Built Interiors ensured that all areas of work were isolated from the operational parts of the office. This involved extensive use of protective coverings and careful movement of materials and personnel, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
4. Quality and Aesthetic Standards:
Challenge: Upholding the high aesthetic and functional standards required by Just Eat, reflecting their brand identity and enhancing employee satisfaction.
Solution: The team employed top-tier craftsmanship in the installation of all components, from bespoke joinery to precision glazing work, ensuring that each element of the project not only met but exceeded the expectations of Just Eat.
Project Impact:
The completion of the Just Eat project by Built Interiors resulted in a refreshed, vibrant office space that fosters a collaborative and productive environment. The innovative use of space and modern installations have significantly enhanced the overall workplace experience, aligning perfectly with Just Eat’s corporate ethos of dynamism and customer satisfaction.
Conclusion:
Key to the success of this project was the effective completion of complex office renovations under challenging conditions with minimal disruption to client operations. This project at Just Eat Dublin is a testament to the expertise, precision, and dedication of the Built Interiors team and our proven track record in corporate office refurbishment.
